It begins with two people who have known each other for years and suddenly discover that something between them has changed. It follows what happens when the life they begin to build together falls apart, and it continues through the years that shape them before their paths finally lead back to each other.
Each book tells a different part of their story. Together, they form one chronicle inspired by true events.

Book One
How It All Began
It starts with a message.
In February 2018, Emma and Chris begin talking again. Neither of them expects those conversations to become important, or that the months ahead will change both of their lives.
How It All Began follows the first six months of their relationship through long conversations, first touches, uncertainty, jealousy, laughter, arguments, and the quiet moments in which friendship slowly becomes something more.
This is where their story begins.

When It All Fell Apart
Sometimes losing each other is only the beginning.
What Emma and Chris built together does not last.
Their separation sends their lives in different directions, bringing new relationships, difficult decisions, loss, and consequences that reach far beyond the end of their relationship. What once seemed certain becomes something neither of them can hold on to.
But some stories remain part of us, even after we believe they are over.

Where It All Comes Together
Finding each other again does not mean returning to where you started.
Years have passed. Both Emma and Chris have lived lives the other was no longer part of, and neither can simply erase what happened in between.
Where It All Comes Together follows what happens after their paths cross again and they begin to discover whether everything that separated them can become part of what brings them together.
The story that began with a message continues toward a future neither of them could have imagined when it all began.
